ARTIST GUIDELINES
Portrait: A4 (2481 x 3507 pixels @ 300 DPI | 8.27 in x 11.69 in)
Landscape: A3 (4962 x 3507 pixels @ 300 DPI | 16.54 in x 11.69 in)
Artists can focus on creative interpretations of various forms of breathing techniques/blood demon art shown by either Hashira and/or demons in the anime! You are also free to show any interpretation you'd like, as long as it's clear which technique you are using/referring to.
Page illustrations, spot illustrations (no background, png files), and/or coloring pages (lineart only) are also welcome!
WRITER GUIDELINES
Writing can focus on descriptions of any technique as described in the show, a brief (non spoiler) history/overview of its connection to other forms, and/or on the characters who practice them!
(example: Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku's specific forms of Flame Breathing)

NOTE: The following schedule is merely a guide for you to stay on track before the final deadline. If you join later, no worries! As long as you submit your piece(s) BEFORE July 15th, you will be included in the zine!

Q: What's the format of the zine?
A: It will be a free for download digital PDF zine.Q: Canon or AU?
A: Canon! Please try to showcase any breathing techniques and/or blood demon art already shown in the anime (to avoid potential manga spoilers). (For example, please avoid focusing on any techniques used by Upper Moon demons not introduced in the anime yet.)Q: Are ships allowed?
A: No. The focus of the zine is meant to be general and MUST be SFW. SFW: Since these techniques are used in battle, you can show any level of fighting which matches the level in the show itself (no excessive gore/blood).Q: What's the piece limit?
A: There isn't one! You can submit however many pieces you want, as long as you do so by the deadline.Q: RGB or CMYK?
A: It doesn't matter! The zine will be 100% digital.Q: Any merch?
A: Depending on the Interest Check results, there may be fun digital add-ons!Q: How many people will be accepted?
A: Any and everyone! There's no limit to the amount of contributors, as long as your piece(s) are submitted by the final deadline (July 15th). This zine is meant to help creators build up their portfolios by providing a zine experience without the contributor application process.Q: How old do I need to be and do I need a Discord account?
A: To participate in this zine, you must be at least 16 years old and you will need a Discord account for easier communication regarding zine updates/check ins.
